Sådan vælger du den rigtige elbil-lease
Privatleasing er nu den dominerende måde at få en ny bil i Danmark. Næsten halvdelen af alle nyregistreringer er leases, og 96,4% af husstande som tog en ny lease i 2025 valgte en elbil. Det er ikke længere et særtilbud — det er normen.
Den vigtigste enkeltbeslutning er ikke mærke eller model, men total-omkostningen over leasingperioden. Mobilsidens tommelfingerregel siger at hvis dine 36 måneders ydelser plus førstegangsydelse er over 45% af bilens nypris, har du betalt for meget. Den næstvigtigste faktor er software-support. En 5 år gammel elbil føles mærkbart ældre end en 5 år gammel benziner — kabineteknologi, navigation, lade-software og batteri-management bliver opdateret over-the-air. Producenter med 4-5 års OTA-løfte (Tesla, Polestar, Skoda) er værd at betale lidt mere for end dem uden klar support-horisont.
Det vi anbefaler at undgå
- Lave km-grænser med høje overskridelsesgebyrer. 10.000 km/år ser billigt ud — indtil din vinterferie i Berlin koster 3.000 kr ekstra. Bestil minimum 15.000.
- "Pakketilbud" med inkluderet forsikring. Ofte dyrere end at tegne forsikringen selv hos Tryg eller Codan. Bed om at se prisen begge veje.
- Aftaler under 36 måneder på en EV. Udlæg + gebyr amortiseret over kortere tid presser månedsprisen op.
How to pick the right EV lease

The single most important decision isn't brand or model — it's the total cost over the lease term. The industry rule of thumb: if your 36 months of payments plus the first payment exceeds 45% of the car's sticker price, you've paid too much. Our Elease Score weights exactly that ratio in the "Total Cost Ratio" component at 30%.
The second most important factor is software support. A 5-year-old EV feels noticeably older than a 5-year-old petrol car — cabin tech, navigation, charging software and battery management all get updated over-the-air. Makers with a 4-5 year OTA commitment (Tesla, Polestar, Skoda) are worth paying a bit more for than those with no clear support horizon.
What we recommend you avoid
- Low km caps with steep overage fees. 10,000 km/year looks cheap — until your winter trip to Berlin costs 3.000 kr extra. Book a minimum of 15,000.
- "Bundle deals" with insurance baked in. Usually pricier than buying the cover yourself from Tryg or Codan. Ask to see the price both ways.
- Lease terms under 36 months on an EV. Deposits and fees amortised over a shorter window push the monthly up.
